Forest River Marsh It was early morning. A group of us went out to paint in the marshes behind the campus of Salem State College. The air was crisp with a little chill, but the sun was bright and warm on our faces. We could smells the reeds we were standing on as we painted and hear the slight movements of the water as it moved in and out of the marsh all around us.
